I love where I live. It's important to me to get involved and contribute to making it a great place, helping my neighbors and supporting small businesses. These are some of my favorite.
Rocky Butte Farmers Market
Started as a pop-up market in 2019, with its first full season as a monthly market in 2021 my neighborhood's farmers market is poised to become a weekly market this year. Supporting my community, local farmers and small businesses is extremely important to me. I got involved the first summer as a volunteer photographer and am now doing photography, social media, marketing, and more for the market. Doggy Business is a fantastic training facility in the Cully neighborhood. My wonderful but challenging pup Ozzie would not be the well-behaved (usually) boy he is if not for them. Owners and trainers Doug and Meredith are brilliant, kind, and very good at what they do. They offer group sessions as well as 1:1 training. If you have any dog training needs, I cannot recommend them highly enough.
